We Exhibited at “entangle moment – [quantum | earth | universe] × art” at the Osaka–Kansai Expo

At the Osaka–Kansai Expo, which has been running since April 13, 2025, the Q-LEAP Quantum Metrology and Sensing program showcased “quantum sensors” in the special program “entangle moment – [quantum | earth | universe] × art” . The exhibition was held for seven days, from Thursday, August 14 to Wednesday, August 20. Our display featured a pink diamond with nitrogen–vacancy (NV) centers and quantum sensors utilizing it.
The event was organized by the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), co-organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, with cooperation from the Physical Society of Japan and other organizations.

The exhibition attracted a wide range of visitors—not only those already interested in science but also many who do not usually engage with it. Although “quantum” is often perceived as a difficult subject, we presented it in interactive and enjoyable ways, enabling even young children to learn and explore.
